November's Cookie of the Month was a clear winner, garnering more votes than the other two options combined. A perfect choice for Thanksgiving . . . Pecan Pie Cookies! The recipe I used from Crazy for Crust only made two dozen and I was making them for our Thanksgiving lunch at work so I decided to make two batches. I was so glad I did. The first batch used light brown sugar and the second batch used dark brown sugar. A slight, but noticeable richer difference. I would definitely recommend using dark brown sugar if you decide to make this recipe. I would say it was a hit; probably the favorite at this point.
Don't be intimidated by these cookies. The ingredients are pretty basic and if you've ever made Thumbprint cookies, then you know the process. Simple and so tasty . . . I dare you to eat just one.
